Theory and Computation

The UW Astronomy Department engages in the theoretical understanding of our universe on a wide range of scales, including planetary atmosphere composition, solar system formation and dynamics, and producing cosmological scale and high resolution N-body models. This work is carried out using, chalkboards, high performance supercomputers, and everything in-between.
