Biography

A.B. Physics and Astrophysics, Harvard University, 2020

I am a graduate student pursuing a PhD in Astronomy here at UW. I am currently working with Professor Mario Juric on solar system science with LSST. For my current project I am creating a hybrid catalogue of solar system objects that combines the S3M simulations with the MPCORB database. I use this catalogue to make predictions for the Near Earth Object Confirmation Page (NEOCP) once LSST comes online.

Previously, I have worked on massive stars and gravitational waves with Professor Selma de Mink. In particular, I investigated the population of Galactic double compact objects that will be detected with LISA using rapid population synthesis and an updated model for the Milky Way. For that project I created the python package LEGWORK with Katie Breivik and helped with the development of COMPAS, a rapid binary population synthesis code.
