UW Astronomer Awarded Research Prize

UW Astronomy Assistant Professor Emily Levesque has been named the 2020 recipient of the American Astronomical Society’s Newton Lacy Pierce Prize for her breakthrough studies of the evolution of massive stars. The Pierce Prize is awarded annually to early career astronomers for outstanding observational research. Read more about Professor Levesque’s research in the AAS press release.
